The SV-Chipkarten Betriebs- und Errichtungsgesellschaft (SVC) is a 100% subsidiary company of the Main Association of Austrian Social Security Institutions and was founded in the year 2001. At the moment the SVC has about 100 employees.
The mission of the SVC is the establishment, the implementation, the operation and the extension of an electronic administration system (ELSY) for Austrian Social Insurance matters according to the regulations of  §§ 31a ff. ASVG (General Social Insurance Law).
